Explore the fascinating world of the garden in these two-day camps for parents and preschoolers. Children and parents will enjoy time together outdoors while learning about insects, plants and flowers. Parents can also learn about child-friendly herbs and veggies, and how to grow an organic garden with the whole family. Each session includes hands-on gardening, an art project, stories, our famous sun tea and yummy snacks!
Put on some overalls and get ready to dig! In this camp, we will practice gardening skills while using real tools from the garden shed. Learn to prepare the soil for planting, care for plants as they grow and explore worm bins for all kinds of soil critters. Parents will leave with some great tips for keeping kiddos safe while they help around your home garden. Each participant will take home their own paper pot to transplant into their garden or grow on a windowsill.
